The University of Utrecht has developed live crowd simulation software based on research done by Dr. Roland Geraerts and his team. In 2016, z25 worked together with Dr. Roland Geraerts to develop an installation which showcases live crowd simulations and allows different types of live interaction with the model.

The installation consist of a live tracked projection on a physical 3D model of the city of Utrecht. It enables the possibility for the audience to connect and interact with the crowd simulation software. This opens up new possibilities for research in large crowd behaviour in challenging urban environments.
