HKU Intense: Illuminating Art and Teaching Discourse**

In 2012, the School for the Arts Utrecht (HKU) celebrated its 25th anniversary with a year filled with special events. Among these, the HKU Intense conference emerged as a platform for educators to delve into the intricate art-making process and its connection to teaching. The discussions at the conference were segmented into five distinct topics, each explored within its dedicated space.

Stichting z25.org was entrusted with the task of transforming these conversations into innovative visualizations, serving two primary objectives: to offer real-time insights into each ongoing discussion and to craft a comprehensive, bird's-eye view of the entire conference.

Our solution involved a sophisticated system capable of recording keywords and relevant tweets into a database. This data served as the foundation for both individual topic visualizations and a centralized overview of the entire conference.

Notably, our system was designed to facilitate post-event analysis, allowing for a thorough review of the conference's discussions and insights.

The HKU Intense project exemplifies our commitment to fostering meaningful dialogues and insights within the realm of art and education, bringing a new dimension to the conference experience.
