Wendeplatz Visuals @ Modulation – January 2025

For the first Modulation of 2025 at De Helling, Utrecht, I, as Knitterschutz, teamed up with @spyrotor under the name Wendeplatz to create a visual experience that merged seamlessly with the immersive soundscapes of the evening. As artists like @anderttysma, @maj.rachel, and @moi.mono filled the space with modular explorations, we crafted a visual narrative that breathed and evolved with the music.

Inspired by the energy of the modular synth community, we developed a dynamic interplay of live-generated visuals, glitch textures, and abstract patterns. Additionally, I brought a selection of merch, featuring designs directly derived from live visuals—capturing the patterns of sound in textile form. You can find these designs at Abstract Threads.
